Semester 2 Review

I learned that this class has a wide variety of options to help students expand their knowledge of video and editing. I learned from going out and filming and then coming back to class to edit the video. This is important because it can help me in the future if I need to film for a class or if I need to edit. I also learned about broadcasting and what goes into a live broadcast.

My strengths are that I film and edit well. I am also pretty good at broadcasting the games. My weakness is that I don't really care anymore. I have improved throughout my 3 years in em because i have gone to more events.

I'm not sure what I will do with what I have learned because I am not going to college for this. I would change some of the requirements, some times people can't go film and stuff happens it shouldn't affect their grade. I would give Coop more power in ecomm because he knows a lot. ]

I used to really enjoy this class, but not so much anymore because this class sometimes has some unrealistic expectations for its students. I had a 98% Sophomore and Junior year and I feel like I was screwed out of an A this year. I tried to drop the class at semester but wasn't allowed. Overall I'm ok with the fact that I took ecomm because I met some of my best friends in it, but to be honest it caused me a lot more frustration than I feel like to should have.

ONW vs OE Football 2015

I did not film this week of football because I was commenting the game alongside Brennen. Parker was on the field filming. I edited the video with Brennen and Jackson. We tried to tell a story about the game. We produced a video that did that.

ONW vs ON football 2015

Brennen, Parker and I went to ODAC to film the football game against North. We got shots of every single play. We focused on trying to get a lot of closeups but we found some difficulty because it was pouring out, so we had to adjust our filming so the camera would not get wet.

Fascinating People

Babara Walters picked celebrities that she considered to be fascinating. she had a sit down interview with all ten of the celebrities she chose.

The first person Walters interviewed was Scarlet Johanson. In the interview Walters talked to Johanson about her personal life and her roots of acting that stretched back to her childhood. In the interview there were close ups.

Walters did a good job trying to connect with Johanson and relate to her life.

I would like to apply the sit down interview to my work more. I have done interviews in the past but they are sometimes against just a white wall. It would work better if there is not just a plain background.

I have already used the six shot system in my interviews already.

I believe that they produced a quality video that correctly used shots.

The video was supposed to be about fascinating people but it was not very fascinating.

I thought that the video was produced well but there were times that bored me and it wasn't fascinating.
